During the early hours of September 27, Joel was attacked by his neighbor and forced to shoot him dead with his revolver in self-defense. On September 26, 2013, Joel arrived home late from work and put Sarah to bed after watching television together. Joel with his daughter Sarah, facing a military soldier.
